Voki is an educational tool that allows users to create their own talking character. Voki is created by Oddcast and is located in New York City.

Voki characters can be customized to look like historical figures, cartoons, animals, and even yourself! Give your Voki a voice by recording with a microphone, using our dial-in number, or uploading an audio file. Voki characters can be emailed, shared on social media, and embedded on websites! You can create your own characters as many you want in your account.

The Importance of Technology

The technology class was one of my favorite classes during this semester. It offers us as new English Teacher new tools and applications that we can use in our classes to teach our students the different skills of English Language.  This class helped me to see the importance of technology in a classroom. I love to do new things with my students and since we started to learn each one of the applications, I also have been using them in my classes with my students and we all have enjoyed more the classes.Using technology in the classes offer my students an innovative and fun environment. I have had the opportunity to see the huge impact that it generates in my students. It helps them to learn more and fast. Technology has made many of my students to show more interest to learn and love English.
